Westfield Champions

The Westfield PAL Flag Football Minicamp Series for Children with Special Needs, Westfield Champions, launched in the Fall of 2023 with 3 minicamps and a lot of excitement. The Minicamp Series will continue with a single Minicamp in Spring 2024 and a Minicamp Series in the Fall of 2024. We cannot wait to see the children back on the field.

The goal of the league is to provide access to flag football to children with special needs and teach them basic elements of the game, build relationships with peers and teen buddies, and have fun. Additionally, it is a great opportunity for Westfield teens to form new relationships by supporting children in the community with the game of flag football. 

The Westfield PAL is excited to announce an upcoming Flag Football Minicamp for the Westfield Champions. The Minicamp will provide 1:1 instruction while moving through stations focusing on passing, catching, rushing and defense, while allowing the children to enjoy time with their friends, neighbors, and classmates. No prior knowledge or football experience is necessary.

Who: Westfield Children Ages 5-14 with Special Needs

Dress comfortably, wear sneakers or cleats, and bring a water bottle. We can’t wait to see you out on the fields.
