Girls Field Hockey

We are excited to offer our PAL Fall Field Hockey league for Westfield girls entering grades 2-8. The goal of this league is to grow the youth program, love the game, and promote teamwork and good sportsmanship.

The 2nd – 4th grade girls will be introduced to the game, positions, rules, learn how to move on and off the ball, and build game sense. Each week the girls will participate in 2 practices and 1 7v7 game (4 home and 4 away). Games are typically on Sundays. This is a fantastic opportunity not only for our youth but to build and advance the WHS program! We are also in need of coaches. If interested in volunteering at this level, please reach out to girlsfieldhockey@westfieldpal.org.

The 5-8 girls will apply their prior field hockey skills in game-like situations, learn how to move on and off the ball, and build game sense. Each week the girls will participate in 2 practices and 1 game (4 home and 4 away). Prior experience is recommended, but not mandatory. This is a fantastic opportunity not only for our youth but to build and advance the WHS program! We are also in need of coaches.
