Now let’s dive into the electrifying world of the Westfield PAL Boys Flag Football program and discover a game experience like never before! Since 1998, we’ve been igniting the flame of football passion in kids from 1st to 10th grade.

Due to the popularity of the program the Westfield PAL Boys Flag Football program is ONLY open to Westfield residents, those attending school in Westfield, or others who have played with us for 2 or more years.

But it’s not just about the game; it’s about fostering enduring friendships, learning the ins and outs of football, and embracing sportsmanship like true champions. Our program isn’t just about touchdowns and flag pulls; it’s about the laughter, the camaraderie, and the memories that last a lifetime. All games are played on Saturday mornings at Tamaques Park located off of Lamberts Mill Road in Westfield (Tamaques Park is also accessible from Dickson Drive). The 2025 season kicks off on September 13th and concluding on November 22nd; Playoffs for the older
divisions end on November 23rd.
The 2025 season time slots for games will be:

• 1st grade ONLY (boys and girls are welcome): 8:15AM – 9:45AM (30 minutes of
  practice followed by 60-minute games)
• 2nd – 3 rd grade: 8:15AM – 9:45AM (30 minutes of practice followed by 60-minute games)
• 4th – 6 th grade: 10:00AM – 11:30AM (30 minutes of practice followed by 60-minute games)
• 7th – 10 th grade: 11:45AM – 1:00PM (15 minutes of practice followed by 60-minute games)

ALL DIVISIONS ARE OPEN TO CO-ED PLAY! Both girls and boys are welcome to play in the Boys Flag Football League

Our Sister Program

Westfield Girls Flag Football continues, WHOOT WHOOT! The Girls Flag league will have two age groups; 2nd-4th grade and 5th-8th grade and will be playing at Tamaques in the 11:45-1PM time slot. With that said, the “traditional” flag football program will continue to be coed and welcomes both boys and girls; girls are free to choose which league they wish to play in and 2nd-6th grader girls are welcome to play in both leagues if they’re up for a morning of flag filled action! NOTE: Girls Flag Football requires a separate sign-up! 

The 2025 Mini Camp will be held on Saturday September 6 th at Kehler Stadium, 830am-930am for 7th-10th grade, 10am-11am for 4th-6th grade and 1130am-1230pm for 1st-3rd grade. This year’s Mini Camp will be run by Westfield’s own varsity football head coach Matt Andzel!

We urge volunteers and coaches to participate as your involvement and support are crucial to our program’s success.

Our MANDATORY coaches meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 6th, at 7pm. All coaches must undergo a required background check (link to follow).

LIVE DRAFT DATE for 4th-6th will be held on Saturday September 6 th at 1pm, following the last mini camp at Kehler Stadium. The 7th-10th draft will be “VITURAL” and held on Sunday September 8th at 7pm.

The cost for registration will be $120 per player, with a family limit of $360. Save $20 during early registration, which will begin May 1 st and run through June 15th. Additionally, a late fee of $20 per player will be assessed starting August 3rd, and registration will close on August 24 th ..

NOTE: Girls Flag Football requires a separate sign-up! If you sign up to play in the BOYS FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE by mistake there will be a $20 processing change fee
