Boys Flag Football

Let’s dive into the electrifying world of the Westfield PAL Boys Flag Football program and discover a game experience like never before! Since 1998, we’ve been igniting the flame of football passion in kids from 1st to 10th grade.

Due to the popularity of the program the Westfield PAL Boys Flag Football program is ONLY open to Westfield residents, those attending school in Westfield, or others who have played with us for 2 or more years.

But it’s not just about the game; it’s about fostering enduring friendships, learning the ins and outs of football, and embracing sportsmanship like true champions. Our program isn’t just about touchdowns and flag pulls; it’s about the laughter, the camaraderie, and the memories that last a lifetime. All games are played on Saturday mornings at Tamaques Park located off of Lamberts Mill Road in Westfield (Tamaques Park is also accessible from Dickson Drive). The 2025 season kicks off on September 13th and concluding on November 22nd; Playoffs for the older divisions end on November 23rd.

The 2025 season time slots for games will be:

• 1st grade ONLY: 8:15AM – 9:45AM (30 minutes of practice followed by 60-minute games)
• 2nd – 3 rd grade: 8:15AM – 9:45AM (30 minutes of practice followed by 60-minute games)
• 4th – 6 th grade: 10:00AM – 11:30AM (30 minutes of practice followed by 60-minute games)
• 7th – 10 th grade: 11:45AM – 1:00PM (15 minutes of practice followed by 60-minute games)

ALL DIVISIONS ARE OPEN TO CO-ED PLAY! Both girls and boys are welcome to play in the Boys Flag Football League.

The 2025 Mini Camp will be held on Saturday September 6th at TAMAQUES PARK (our regular fields), 8am-9am for 4th-6th & 7th-10th grade, 9:15am-10am for 2nd/3rd grade and 10:15am-11am for 1st grade.

We urge volunteers and coaches to participate as your involvement and support are crucial to our program’s success.

All coaches must undergo a required background check. If you are coaching and have not completed it, please do so ASAP, as it needs to be done before the start of the season

DRAFT DATE:
4th-6th will be held on Monday September 8th at 8pm,
7th-10th will be. held on Tuesday September 9th at 8pm

All drafts will be “VITURAL”. Only coaches and assistant coaches will be invited, link to follow.

TEAM ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1st-3rd grade will get team assignments by Tuesday 9/2
4th-10th grade will get team assignments by Thursday 9/11

The cost for registration will be $120 per player, with a family limit of $360. Save $20 during early registration, which will begin May 12th and run through June 15th. Additionally, a late fee of $20 per player will be assessed starting August 4th, and registration will close on August 17th.

NOTE: Girls Flag Football requires a separate sign-up! If you sign up to play in the BOYS FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE by mistake there will be a $20 processing change fee.
